Terms of service

In effect from 15 October 2026.

Who may use it

  • The service is for businesses in Ethiopia only.

Plans and payment

  • Plans are prepaid for one month at a time.
  • Unused verifications do not roll over to the next month.
  • There are no refunds and no automatic renewal: you buy each month yourself.
  • Prices are final amounts in Ethiopian birr (ETB).
  • A plan called Unlimited has a fair-use cap: a limit per hour and a limit per day.

Receiving accounts

  • A receiving account is used only after an operator approves the evidence that you own it: a small challenge payment made from that account.

Liability

  • Gafat is not liable for a loss you suffer.

Your data

  • The privacy notice says what is kept about receipts, and for how long.
